Fuelled by the gadabout nature, I stumbled upon the opportunity to create wine in Croatia. It felt entirely appropriate to bestow the name “Gadabout” upon my first boutique winery.
The Boutique Winery is driven by a purposeful commitment to limited production and unwavering quality. The mission is to unveil the Trebbiano Toscano’s grape’s true essence and unleash its full potential as the grape of the future within its unique climate and terroir.
Gadabout is a testament to exploration, embracing chances, and taking risks—guided by the belief that true greatness emerges from daring to venture beyond the ordinary.

Valley in Nadin, where natural ventilation is keeping the vines healthy. The soil is composed by high percentage of clay, acting as a water container during the dry summer.

From young on I have developed a deep appreciation for Tuscany and all its treasures. Having previously gained my winemaking skills in this region, I became familiar with the potential and distinct character of the Trebbiano Toscano grape. In Nadin, Croatia, we have discovered the perfect terroir for releasing the true potential of the grape. The clay-based soil and warm Mediterranean climate create an ideal microclimate for this grape to flourish. Here, we have found a unique place where the age and quality of the vines, meticulous winemaking practices, and an abundance of love and determination have culminated in the creation of full-bodied, rich, and aromatic Trebbiano Toscano white wines that rival the finest offerings from renowned regions like Abruzzo.
